This indoor event taught us how to play Dingo, a card
game, new for me, long
forgotten by DC. His wife, Terri, plays the game like a pro but she let
the others win.

Don and I chewed the fat for a good amount of time on
a variety of subjects. We left the date open for a future
meeting for planning our 40th Class Reunion.

As an update for last week; at Camp Clearwater, Lee and Mary Beth gave
Ye Ole Webmaster some garden equipment since Lee could not do as
much gardening as before. Actually, they gave me more than I expected.
(Lee and I have traded garden tips since they moved to Jacksonville).
Although no pictures were taken, Ye Ole Webmaster paid a surprise
visit to Mary Beth and Lee earlier this week. To save me from having
to figure a way to ship a surprise to their new home in Florida, I gave
them a jar each of homemade sweet pickles, bread and butter pickles, and
tomato jelly. They in turn gave me a bag of fresh blueberries they had
just purchased earlier in the day. And to top it off, they asked if I wanted
one of their composting drums! I had to do some rearranging
in the work van to carry it home, but like
Mary Beth said, I was really determined to take it home. Before I left
we talked about the different wireless VRS units that we both have
been trying to get and we compared with each other the service
experience that we have received. Mary Beth and Lee, a BIG
THANK YOU for the garden equipment.
A really nice surprise!
AND
Both of you will be MISSED leaving for Florida.
