Steve wanted to join us during one of our series of meetings to plan
for our 40th Class Reunion in 2010 so we said... "Come on down!". In
between our reminiscing "sessions" we were able to throw some
ideas around for the Reunion. We agreed that it was best to wait and
see about other issues that needed to come to light before proceeding
further but in the meantime, we decided to meet again sometime
in January after the holidays.
The location of our meeting was in Mebane, NC, roughly halfway
between Greensboro and Raleigh, at a nifty little place called
the "Blue Ribbon Diner" just off of I-40 on exit 154. A very good place
to eat. I will highly recommend anyone to take the time and try out the
food.
I've been meaning to try them out since they opened about 2-3 years
ago and just found out that they do have another diner located in
Burlington.
The restaurant has a 1950s-1960s atmosphere with an ole time jukebox.
The picture below was taken as a test before setting up the timer on
the digicam for the picture taking. The original picture turned out dark
so DC pulled me back into the diner to let one of the hosts take our
picture which you see above.

Anyway, after several processes with the graphics program
I thought it was interesting to see these guys watching me at work. |
