The North Carolinian did not have a specific date for this picture but the
National Weather Service Station at the Hickory Regional Airport reports
snowfall amounts of 4 1/2 inches on Tuesday, January 6, one inch on
Monday, January 14, and 2 inches on Friday, January 23. There were no
reports of snow for the entire month of February.
