In 1994, the NCSD's 100th Anniversary pamphlet's Year By Year 1968 section
states "Football team flew to Kentucky for a game: left early in the morning;
played the game in the afternoon; and flew home to be on time for supper!"

Also, it stated that the Football team was named the National Champions of
Schools for the Deaf.
