These same players in the 1968 football team were named
National Football Champions of Schools for the Deaf. 40 years later,
the 1968 football team, coaches, athletic director, cheerleaders,
and sponsors of cheerleaders had a National Football Champions
Reunion Banquet after the 2008 Homecoming game. A newspaper
