| Joyce Ann Sigmon Benfield Hickory, North Carolina 28601 I got my first job at Johnson Hosiery Mill June 8, 1970. I married my first husband, Johnny Lee Carpenter on May 19, 1973 and divorced him on June 7, 1979. I remarried to my 2nd husband, Ronald Jack Benfield on June 23, 1979. Separated on September 26, 1986. He died on February 27, 1998 and became a widow. I am now on SSDI. My first car was a 1977 Dodge Aspen and bought it in February of 1979. I traded in my 1977 Dodge Aspen to a 1987 Ford Escort station wagon on June 25, 1994. July 16, 2007 Dear Lester: I am forwarding you the pictures of your beloved Classmate, Joyce Ann Sigmon Benfield, in which they were taken on her 59th birthday, May 3, 2007, at the Golden Corral here in Hickory for her birthday lunch along with her friends Dessie Greenwood, Mary Seagroves, Wayne Snow and myself. So, therefore; I want you and everyone in the Class of 1970 to have these pictures to remember her in all in your heart and mind. These are the last pictures of her before she passed away.
