Renovations Completed in 2008
Pictures of the Second (first) Floor

Brenda Davis, MamaPat and Ye Ole Webmeister, would like to thank NCSD's
administrators for giving us the opportunity to tour Hoey Hall on
Friday before the 2008 Homecoming.


The main entrance.


With the double doors to the left, this angle shows where the old HS
principal's office used to be.


This is a close up of the mosaic shown in the
second picture above

Behind the column in the same second picture, we found this
to be interesting.


This angle shows what used to be that big open area on this floor.
Unfortunately, we didn't think to ask what the main purpose was
but this is where we had to sign in to receive our visitors passes.

This used to be the area where the typewriting class and later
the IBM keypunching class used to be.

Second door on the right goes to the second set of stairs just
before going to the west wing.

This is looking towards the Hoffmeyer Hall end of the west wing. Or
the large window behind me as seen in the picture above this one.

Before going upstairs to the second (top) floor, I snapped this picture. Note the
new light poles. As an electrician, I guess only I would notice them.
